I recommend some business books using the site LibraryThing.com .
It has some interesting features:
Main benefit for me is to quickly see what books in a specific field have the best rating.
Combining these recommendations with those of amazon.com gives you further ideas on what books are best to buy!

A great book: ‘The Tipping Point ‘ by Malcolm Gladwell . From a review on Amazon.com :
‘Malcolm Gladwell, a staff writer for New Yorker Magazine , in The Tipping Point , writes a fascinating study of human behavior patterns, and shows us where the smallest things can trigger an epidemic of change.
Though loaded with statistics, the numbers are presented in a way that makes the book read like an exciting novel.
Gladwell also gives several examples in history, where one small change in behavior created a bigger change on a national level. He also studies the type of person or group that it takes to make that change.’

This is a great book that describes the impact of the new Web 2.0 internet , with all the new possibilities of mass collaboration .
It is written by Don Tapscott (Author), Anthony D. Williams (Author) .
Tapscott and Williams clearly show the major impact the Web 2.0 will have on Corporations.
‘From these principles Tapscott discusses the following actors:
Ideagoras the creation of open forums where ideas are freely shared and developed (…)
Prosumers who are a rising group of customers who will both produce and consume new products and services.
New Alexandrians the ‘librarians’ who will bring people together (..).
Platforms of Participation which is where the wiki economy will happen.
Global Plant Floor recognizes that manufacturing has become more open and able to support mass customized products.
Here are some useful reviews on Amazon .

GTD means : Getting Things Done
This is the title of a book written by David Allen . He describes effective Time management / Priority management methods.
I have read several book on Time management in the past; but there is always room for improvement! It seems this is the most highly recommended book on this topic.
This is my own very positive experience with GTD !
From an Amazon.com review:
‘The essence of the process is that you write down a note about everything when you take on a new responsibility, make a new commitment, or have a useful thought. All of this ends up in some kind of “in” box.
You then go through your “in” box and decide what needs to be done next for each item.
For simple issues, this includes identifying the action you should take first and when to take it.
For tougher issues, you schedule an appropriate time to work the problem in more detail.
You organize the results of this thinking , and review your options for what you should be doing weekly .
Then you take what you choose to do, and act. Think of this process as the following five steps:
collect
process
organize
decide
act
From another summary:
After processing:
‘ Once everything is complied (the first time is is a one-to two day chore) you place it in a container:
Trash
Someday Maybe
Actionable
If it is ACTIONABLE. Decide which the next category:
Do it (if requires less than 2 minutes).
Delegate it.
Defer it (by calendar item or Next Action).
If it takes multi actions it goes into a Projects.
Recommendations:
This is the website of the author David Allen . On this site (after registering), you can down some pretty good stuff, e.g.:
additional articles on GTD
mindmap giving an overview of GTD
This is a great video of David Allen at a Google conference explaining GTD! :
